MEET THE STAFF
ROBERT SULLIVAN
PRESIDENT

Rob was born in 1967 in Yonkers, New York. At the age of 11, he came to know Christ as his Savior while attending Daily Vacation Bible School at Bethany Chapel in Yonkers. Shortly thereafter, he joined the meeting and has been in fellowship ever since.

Rob is a graduate of Emmaus Bible College (Biblical Studies) and the University of Notre Dame (Finance and Business Economics). From 1996 thru 2014, he worked at Morgan Stanley, achieving the title of Executive Director. His accomplishments include the launch of the Information Security Office and the Information Risk Oversight functions. He also served as liaison for the firm in 2006 with the United States Marine Corps and its economic development programs in Al Anbar, Iraq. Rob left Morgan Stanley at the end of 2014 to join the staff of Believers Stewardship Services (today known as Legacy Ministry Services).

Since that time, Rob has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Legacy which helps Christians with estate planning, planned giving, and governance matters for assemblies / assembly related ministries.

Rob has a heart for the advancement of the Gospel around the world. This is in large part owing to the influence of Bethany Chapel on his life. The assembly there has sent out 25 workers into the Lord’s work since its founding in 1904, with 12 having been sent overseas with CMML. Rob was named Board Chairman for CMML at the start of 2024 after having served on its Board for several years.

Rob is also Board Chairman of the Associates for Biblical Research – this organization conducts the largest archaeological digs in the world. And Rob is Board Chairman of School Ministries, Inc. – which reaches over 48,000 public school students in the United States with Bible teaching and the Gospel on a weekly basis.

In 2019, Rob married Susie Henderson, the daughter of Donald and Connie Henderson of Dover, Pennsylvania. Prior to their marriage Susie was a professor of elementary education at Emmaus Bible College. Rob and Susie currently reside in Yonkers, New York. They are in happy fellowship at Bethany Chapel where Rob serves as an elder.
